Usually, if you go from the lowest point of your life to one of the highest, or if being a shinigami is a significant part of your life and you just suddenly became one again — USUALLY, this would require some self-examination. Something like: “Woah, I’m wearing a shihakushou again!” or “Hey, Zangetsu’s back! Why does he look different?” or even “What the eff just happened to me?” But nope, Ichigo’s just “Alright, my Sailor Moon transformation’s over, just gonna stick my sword in the ground — because, you know, it’s such good soldier sense to let go of my zanpakutou in the middle of a battle — time to turn my back against the enemy and talk to Rukia for a bit, nbd.”

JUST MY OTP BEING PERFECT AGAIN, NBD.

(But I did like this scene in the manga better; he seemed much gentler. Hand on his heart and everything…!)
